Exactly where are these diodes in the amp? I have one of these and they are not in it. If I knew where they are at in the circuit I could give you an idea of what to use. I don't see them on the schem either, at leat by that number. I'm sure they are a 1kv 3amp or something like that. Are you sure they are a diode?

HMMMM-just did a quick google and came up with a mr25xx type diode that is very high current and up to 1000v so I have to assume that these are strapped over the plates or something. Can't think of anyplace else they might go. Let me know. This must be an export version maybe?

Thanks Mike, this diode is placed in pin 3 (anode)on the output tubes to ground(in two of the tubes, the two on sides), I asked a tech and he say me is a diode 5KV/250ma, but I'm not really sure, in some places says this diode(MRXXX Family) its a fast recovery diode, but only go until 1000V 3A or more(but not much more, like 5KV), the diodes I have aren't bad, but in the future maybe they blows up, and its good know a replacement for this diodes, here in Honduras its difficult ask a tech or someone, but I think in USA aren't so difficult, Mike, you have had problems with these diodes before?

You know, I'm really sorry I never saw this thread again. I never got an email. I've never seen these go bad but I suppose anything is possible. I'll check in on the other thread. Mike.
