Would be interested to know the Bias setting for this amp and where to take the readings. This is a later model chassis with 6l6's.Thanks,Jim | ||

Jim,I own the rd100 head,and Ihad always heard they are the self biasing type,and i can say i have used many different types of tubes ,now i do make sure they are matched types ,but I have read posts from guys who stuck even 2 differnt brands in and it did fine ,the thing does a sort of auto leveling of its self ,now i have never been brave enough to try this , but some have tried tweaks of this auto bias ,ans some have completely replaced it ,thats a little over my head at this point,and i love not having to deal with that anyway personally. |
