I have been engineering mods to make Music Man amp channel switching, and am thinking of putting out some kits. Is anyone out there interested? I will consider if it is worth it based on your response, people. Please respond here, and let me know what model you would like to mod.

You might want to post some particulars about the mod... i.e. what changes, what is added, is it reversible, etc.

Steve-long time no hear! You don't get around here much. I know running your own business is time consuming but it is good to see you around here. It's been kind of slow but some good people seem to be showing up. MIke.

Thanks for the interest, Steve. I have come up with a great switching logic circuit, which I have built on a bread board so far. It is fast, silent, with great dynamic range/low noise, adds only around 120 ohms to the circuit, bypasses both signal and ground (truly bypasses a channel, with optional simultaneous switching of reverb/tremolo/phaser from channel to channel using LDRs. I have also designed a small circuit board for the works, as well as a very small circuit board which regulates the necessary power from an amps transformer, which mounts on a transformer's mounting bolts. The mod will be entirely removable, but will likely require two screw holes to be drilled in the chassis of the amp for the main circuit board, which is roughly 2"x3.5" in size. I plan to use the circuit to make a great A/B box as well. I will keep you posted on my progress. Cheers!

Hi Peter, hows the channel switching doing? I would like to try a kit if your selling them. Maybe I can install some for people that are interested?

I'd love to have a look at a kit. I live in Australia and would need to do the install myself.
