I am working on some sound clips, before and after when I get more time. Here is a quick clip of a HD-130 with my Plexi mod, that is still in refinement, please excuse some of the sloppiness, since I was adjusting the settings as I played. I also used a little compression to keep from red linning. Ed as I commented in email I thought these clips were great - from my laymans point of view you've made some real worthwhile changes to these circuits. Thanks for sharing these, this is awesome stuff. The playing is great too! | ||

Thank you for the complement, I appreciate it. I still am working at it though, I should be better for as long as I have been playing. The MM amps are great workhorses and I like to keep the spirit alive with them. I am always trying to make improvements on tone and the MM amps have a lot of potential! I have a RD-100 that I just picked up and will doing some mods to it too. I will post the progress when I get a chance. I have learned quite a bit from these amps and other amps. I have had the priveledge of working on some Dumble amps too, and have learned a lot about tone. Thank you Chuck! Ed | ||
