SOLD (HD130-Reverb head - PROJECT AMP)

THIS AMP IS SOLD

This is an amp that got exposed to residual moisture during Hurricane Sandy - it was NOT soaked or submerged, but we decided to err on the side of caution in case the amp may have been exposed to moisture. All transformers were pulled and sent to Mercury Magnetics and given a clean bill of health.

For those who don't know, Mercury Magnetics has a known program that helps amp owners who have amps that may have sustained water damage:

Mercury Magnetics service tickets will be provided for all transformers.

This is an early amp with the 12AX7 phase inverter, serial number: B001870. Overall, this amp is in very good cosmetic and physical condition and everything is here. The transformers just need to be wired back in and new tubes installed and you'd be all set to go. The amp has been recapped and a number of drifted components changed, so with a couple hours on the bench this baby can be up and running again as new. All old caps and removed parts are bagged and will be included with the sale as well as the Mercury Magnetics service tags from where the transformers were serviced. No footswitch or tubes are included.

Asking $275 and plus actual shipping costs from 28306.

NOTE: I have a second fully functioning HD130-Reverb head with the 12AX7 phase inverter and old stock 6CA7 power tubes and I will make a deal on both heads.

All this amp needs is the transformers wired back in and tubes. It has been fully re-capped and all drifted components replaced by a competent tech. With a new set of tubes and a couple hours on the bench this would be another work horse amplifier.
