RD100 with EL34s

I have an RD 100 I bought used in 1984. The chassis ID stamped on the back is 2100, and the model is RD100, but it has EL34s, not 6L6s.

What gives?

When the supply of 6CA7's (EL-34's) dried up,
MusicMan sitched over to 6L6's.
