my amp is that hd130 410 sixty five thing i think(looks identical to the one at the homepage of this website. i dont know much about it other than the fact that i like it alot.j

anyway, my tremolo hardly works anymore and i was lookin in the back just for the hell of it and i noticed theres a lone tube by the tremolo controls. im guessing this for the tremolo. anyway, if it is, what kind of tube do i need to replace it with?

That tube is NOT for the trem. It is the Phase Inverter and has nothing to do with the trem. The tube should be a 12ax7 of some variety or other. Trem problems in this amp are solid state and can't be diagnosed over the phone, so to speak. You will have to take it to the doctor IF you want it to work. Sounds like a weak IC on the board. Mike

Sorry , I forgot something. There IS a tremelo pot that can adjust your tremelo on that amp. Still, it means either taking to the doctor or opening the amp up yourself and exposing yourself to 700V inside. Unlest you are comfortable around these voltage and hev dealt with them a lot like I have, DON'T. Take it to someone and let them do it. Mike.
