Two months and this guy gets no response. Too funny. WHAT a hot market of "enthusiasts". I've got a rare MM HD210 One*Fifty in EXCELLENT condition, recently replaced filter caps, slapped on a three prong plug, and installed a matching quad of spanking new Svetlana 6L6GC's. Showroom, 1979-80.

My guess... this offer will rot here and in about 4-5 months I'll wind up eBaying her.

Am I wrong?

Does that mean you got a bite on yours? We don't know if Tim got a bite or not.

If Tim's HD-130 is a head without reverb, it has a relatively high price tag (compared to a typical eBay listing)for this model, especially considering no photo, no real description and no special reason why it might actually be worth it.

If it was in perfect showroom condition with factory cover and all paperwork (provenance) then the package might appeal to someone on that basis. If it is just a dusty old HD-130 (that kind of works but might need a cap job) then it is overpriced. No one can tell where it lies between these two extremes without more info.

It's all in the marketing!

Steve, again, it's rare MM HD210 One*Fifty COMBO in EXCELLENT condition, recently replaced filter caps, slapped on a three prong plug, and installed a matching quad of spanking new Svetlana 6L6GC's. Showroom, 1979-80.

I haven't taken photos or put it on eBay yet.

I looked into this and decided not to sell.

There's a buyer-only market for these amps. To
sell is to get ripped off (IF yours is in EXC.++
condition).

No WAY the money you'd get would come NEAR the
replacement value being exacted by say, the
85 Watt '65 Twin R.I., MM HD combo's were designed to compete with (at a MUCH lower price back THEN!)

To those GIGGING MUSICIAN PLAYERS who've got one, and have mastered the art of finding their signature tones upfront; Advice: KEEP IT.
