Which one should I buy?

I really like this great site!

Here's my question:
I've been looking to buy a MM, and I found two, but alas I can't afford both of them: a 112RP65 and an 115RP100. I don't have a clue which one I should buy. The 112 combo is more expensive than the 115, but it is in mint condition. I didn't get to see the 115 yet. I mostly play, er, well, just call it rock'n roll or classic rock.

1-12-65. You can always add a cab(wasn't that an album?), and you can pick it up easier! Really, I never did like the 100's. That was just a little TOO over the top.

thanks for helping, but what exactly do you mean by "over the top"? Too heavy maybe? Or will it be too clean?

just think trying to get 100 watts out of two 6l6's is absurd. I realize they really don't get 100 watts out of them but they are pushing them pretty hard.

I see, but since I'm from Belgium, I think I'll be lucky to find a good MM at all. The 112RP65 I saw in a store in Brussels costs 750 euro (960 US $), so that's quite a lot for a not-so-big amp, especially compared to price ratings I see around this forum. Someone is I know asking 500 euro (640 US $) for his 115RP100, so that's much more reasonable to me. I'll go check it this afternoon. Just hope I like that big 15 inch. Like the Phasor though!
Are you from Germany?

Nope-US. If that was the spread of price I was facing, I would do it too! I really like 15's to play through. When I use my 210-65, I chain a small cab to it with a JBL d130 in it. It adds the bottom end I am missing by having 10's. Good luck. Mike.

Hey Mike,
MM amps are extremely rare around here. Hardly ever saw one. I went to the store to check out the 65 (the expensive one) and it was sold already. Just to tell you Americans don't know how lucky you are with all those cool amps and guitars so easy to get! (SF Twin Reverbs are about 1200$ these days...)
So I bought the other one. The guy was mistaken, it's a 112RP100, not a 115. Because the reverb was broken, he gave it for 530 $, believe me, that's an extremely good price for this amp around here. He obviously had trouble parting with his amp (almost told him to keep it) but I just had to get it. Now, I'm so happy...
OK, now I'm going to read this whole forum to get my new amp all bright and shiny again. Got to get that reverb right!
Thanks,
Chris.

My first suspect for the reverb is the tank. they seem to be rather fragile in MM amps. I've gone through two already. Mike.
