Year, model and valves

Hi there,

What a great resource! Wondering if you folks would be able to tell me the year, model and valve arrangement of my music man. I was told it was from the 70s and was one of the rarer all-valve models.

Serial number is BN10148
Cassis no is 2275-65 AX

It says it's output is 65w RMS. This is an Australian / 240v version

Many thanks in advance.

Could use more photos but...

...looks like the export version of a Sixty-Five amp. Since there is no model # on the rear label I am guessing the chassis is from a head version, unless all export models were like this. Do you have Reverb and Tremolo on board?

If it has the 12AX7 phase inverter tube, it is the earlier version that use 6CA7/EL34 power tubes. The speaker looks like the stock alnico magnet 10" Eminence from the 50th week of 1978, so your amp is a '79 model. I assume you have two speakers, which makes this a 210 Sixty-five amp.

Photos of the entire front and back would be helpful.

Thanks inertian,

Thanks inertian,

More pics attached. It has tremolo and reverb on board with a foot switch. Yes, it's a two speaker 210 sixty-five. So it has tube preamps as well as power amps?

Solid State Preamp, Tube Power Amp

The 12AX7 tube is a phase inverter. Later models replaced this with a solid state arrangement.

It looks like a standard 210 Sixty-Five.

What's incorrect about the model #?

What's incorrect about the chassis number?
2275-65 with a B serial is correct for a sixty-five reverb.
