65 Reverb Connections

Hello. I have an early model Sixty-Five head with reverb. The reverb tank was missing when I bought the head. As I look through the rear of the head, there are two RCA connections on the chassis. One is closer to the front and one is closer to the rear of the head.

Which one goes to the right RCA connection of the reverb tank and do the RCA connections of the reverb tank face to the front or rear of the head?

One final thing, I removed the chassis from the head cabinet to see if there was a date written on the inside of the chassis but there was nothing other than 2/17. The serial number on the chassis is BN02595. It has the 12AX7 tube. I searched the forums for serial numbers and dating but I could find a definitive answer as to when MY head would have been made. Any insight?

I'm really blown away by how good this head sounds. I did some trading awhile back and have a MM 4X12 cab. The logo doesn't match the head but they still sound pretty good together.

Thanks for the help!

As long as you have the right

As long as you have the right tank, just plug it each each way and see which way gives you the most. It won't hurt. Date- 74-77 or 8. After that, they were SS driver (no 12ax7). No clue as to what the 2/17 is unless that's the month and day. Mike.

I messaged a Sixty-Five

I messaged a Sixty-Five seller/owner on Reverb. The answer to my question is, the amp reverb jack closest to the rear of the head goes to the input jack of the reverb tank.
