I have an RH 212 and one of the speakers died completely. It doesn't cut out or make any attempts at working. The other speaker ,however, sounds perfect, very warm and clear. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas as to what could be causing this.

It sounds like the voice coil just burned out. It happens that way some times. If you were running it up to full clip and hitting it hard, that could be one reason or it just plain died. Those things sometimes don't give you a warning> Mike.

Is there anyway this can be fixed, or should I just say screw it?

Speakers can be repaired, but it will probably be easier and cheaper to replace them both.

(BTW, make sure its the speaker and not the wires. Remove one of the "bad" speakers' connectors, and touch a 9V battery to the 2 terminals. If you dont hear any noise then the speaker is bad. If you do, then it's the wiring near the speaker. In any case, reconnect the
wirng and don't play the amp till the problem is fixed.)

I have put the speaker in other cabs and it has not worked at all. It's definately the speaker. I am going to replace the speakers anyway, but I was going to build a small cab and put the two old 12's in it. I am just going to make a really small cab and put the one 12 in it now. I just wanted to build something small for when I am playing in my room or when I go jam somewhere that doesn't require much. Thanks.
