Hi people! 15 days ago I bought this MusicMan 115HD 150 EVM head (¿?)...I think that this amp was a 1 x 15" combo modified to head, because the 150 watt head is the 150HD. The difference between the 150hd is the 2275-150 chassis (no treble and bright switch in the channel 1), it has phaser with the manual swich. When I bought it, it hadn't installed the reverb tank, for that reason I bought in mojotone a 4BB2A1B tank. Its sounds preety good, but so brillant (When I turn on reverb is as if it added brightness to the sound, it grows as I raise the reverb level), a real california surf tone, but it is ok? or something is not working ok??? I think that it because of C27, a .0033 cap in the reverb circuit.
Well..the amp is too loud, i like the clean, but when I turn the preamp to 10, the sound gets so fuzzy, is not a prety distortion. I prefer to use the gain in 7. I run it throught a 4x12 Marshall 1960A. I will record sound clips an post it here.
