well, kim thayil isn't in audioslave, just chris cornell, kim thayil fell into obscurity after SG broke up.. tom morello probally has used them, but thats a different guitarist.

god im a dickhead
i was in such a rush writing that message
you are correct and tom morello has been seen using MM on stage which is a little different to his marchalll/peavy stack i think it was in RATM
he used the same gear for the whole of the bands career

yeah what happened to kim - i wonder if he still endorses guild s.g's - i doubt it!

and the drummer is now with pearl jam right?

thanks for picking up that error!

lets not forget -

lol, well, hes still using them the s-100, lol, at least at his last sighting, since SG broke up thayil's been really obscure, which is sad be cause he rocks, last known news, he did a solo on the last song of the new probot record called "sweet dreams," and is working with the x-drummer (alfredo hernandez) from KYUSS. acutally kim used the MM even earlier possibly 86 or before, don't mind me, im a avid SG fan ;) he switched to the peavey VTM 120 between loud love tours and the release badmotorfinger (some time around 91-92)

Kim Thayil appeared in the No WTO combo with Jello Biafra and Krist from Nirvana in 1999. They released an album of some live originals and a couple of old classics, the new songs are probably the best stuff Jello has written since the DKs, but predictably, its simple but aggressive punk rock, however Kim definitely put his stamp on the guitar work. A lot of it is Jello's spoken word stuff. If you're not into that, you are pretty much getting a really good EP for LP price. I bought it when it first came out and still listen to it once in a while.

I found this at a fan site. It was dated 1986. YOu can just see the MM peeking out ;)
