I have an RD50 112 on the way
I'm not sure of the year it was made. I noticed the schems show 4 versions with mods to the drive circuit and other changes to caps and resistors. Any comments on how they're different or preferences for one over the other? Thanks!

I was searching the site to find out the tonal differences from the earlier models without the mid shift switch to the later models with it. Anyone heard both? The RD-50 amps had several revisions. I have an early model, and I'm not crazy about the limiter channel, muddy and fuzzy. Based on the revisions, it looks like they were trying to address these concerns. So, do the later models with the mid shift switch sound better on the limiter channel?
