The reverb button on the pedal for my Music Man HD130 Reverb isn't working. Both effects work on the amp, and the tremolo button on the pedal works. I'm looking for some troubleshooting advise. It just decided to stop working. I plan to open up the pedal to make sure that the wire didn't disconnect (both wires are connected amp side). If that's not the problem, I'm gonna try a new wire. What type of wire (and what gauge) should I use? If it's not the wire or the connection, what could be a possible cause?

Thanks,
-Adam

Swap the rca jacks to the foot switch on the back of the amp. If the 'reverb' button now controls the tremolo and the reverb still stays on regardless of what you do to the 'tremolo' button, there may be an issue with the reverb control jack or the wire leading to it inside the amp. If the reverb now switches on and off fine with the 'tremolo' button and tremolo stays on regardless, you likely have a bad connection in the foot switch or its wire. It could be rca jack itself that needs replacing, or (less likely) the button in the foot switch.

Hope this helps as a start

So, according to your post, since the reverb currently works on the amp, it's "likely a bad connection in the foot switch or its wire." I'll try swapping the jacks and checking the connections then check back in.

Thanks for the advise,
-Adam
