Got my first MM. Sounds ok, but the Phasor is not working. I didn't get a footswitch with it, and I'm not sure if a footswitch has to be plugged in in order for the Phasor to work. There are two RCA inputs right next to the reverb tank inputs, I'm assuming they're for the Reverb/Phasor on/off. If a switch is needed, will any standard two button Fender footswitch work, or do I need something different? The MM manual shows the Reverb / Phasor footswitch, it looks like a standard Fender footswitch.

If the Phasor should be working without the footswitch, where's the best place to start troubleshooting? It doesn't work at all right now.

Side note; this came with an EV Force 12 speaker in it, which I'm assuming is not stock?

Thanks!

THe footswitch for that amp is just a shunt to ground type so yes, any footswitch will work. I would try just shorting the phaser to ground and then ungrounding it to see if it will work. It just grounds the signal going into the IC that controls the phaser so it SHOULD work without any pedal so My guess would be probably IC trouble. I don't THINK the force EV's were out when that amp came out. Not sure though. I would check to see if it has -16v at LDR1 and LDR2. THen go from there.
