Just thought I'd offer some encouragement for others with reverb problems, as it seems to appear quite often here.
I've been playing through the non reverb/trem channel on my 65 head because the reverb side started sounding sort of faint and distorted. The problem arrived not too long after I had started switching around the preamp opamps using the Brown Dog adapters. So, I figured there was some conflict with the new units and the reverb circuit.
But, in the back of my mind I kept remembering how great the reverb sounded. And I missed playing "Born On The Bayou" using the on-board trem, which I preferred to my tremolo pedal.
So I cracked it open today to give it another go and I discovered that the PCB mounted RCA jacks had become loose, not within the jack, but the nut tightening the jack to the board (there's a ground trace under there on the circuit board). After tightening them I cranked it up, and lo and behold, there was my effects channel in all it's glory!
So a word to the frustrated,

"Son, dont let the man get you
Do what he done to me.
Cause hell get you."

Check the simple stuff first - clean and tighten all aspects of the connectors before you start looking for more complicated problems. Not a fix for every problem, but the fix for mine!

Dan
