I just got a 112 RD--the previous owner said he didn't know if the right tubes were in it. The tag w/tube info has been removed. How can I tell? There are schems for this amp on this website showing both types.

I am no expert, but I think the only way to be sure is to know which PC board you have. There are some pics on this web site of other guy's amps and amp chassis, you might find one that looks the same. But you may want the peace of mind to look at the underside of your board. Maybe you could use an angled dentist mirror. Run the mirror around the edge of the board to look under the board using a flashlight into the mirror. I believe that the number is kind of centered on the front or back of the board in about 1/4" high silver lettering.
Be careful, there is high voltage in there -- even with the amp off -- especially don't touch the tube sockets or capacitors.

Hey, Mike.

Yup, I lifted the board, and there it was, big as life--GD-2 (6CA7's). Thanks so much for your help!
