My 25 year companion gave up! She's a RD 112 and there's big distortion and hum and no control of the vol.,gain, or tone pots. No guitar signal. Looked inside and noticed the 390 ohm 5 watters are very hot. Note: Filter caps and re-tubed and biased... I can do some work....but I need some ideas on this one. Voltages seem to be in order. All electrolytics (not just filters) should have
been changed by now. Any more than 10 years or so
on an electrolytic, leaves you vulnerable.

I'd focus on the Driver Board IC, then the
driver transistors/resistors, with a re-build in mind.

If the voltage drop across the 390's is over
spec, the tubes may be fried too.

Of course, your mileage may vary.
