Hey, I just bought a MM 210hd130 and now I'd like to build an amp case for it. Does one of you have the exact dimensions (official info from MM) of this amp? Has one of you got a flightcase for your MM amp? If so, what dimensions does it have (and which does your amp have?)? Thanks for your time |

I honetly don't think I've SEEN a case specifically for a MM but usually you can just measure your amp and add 1 1/2 inch all the way around for the thick grey stiff foam that they use in them. The case for my twin is that way. Of course, if you foam the bottom, the weight of the amp will crush it down so you have to take THAT into account. I think my twin case only had 1 inch on the bottom and IT smashed down to practically nothing. It kind of depends on the type of foam that you can find. Getting it here locally, I couldn't find the nice grey stuff when I had to re-foam my twin so I had to go with that crappy white stuff that's a lot softer and more of a pain in the wazzu to work with. You might check fleabay for foam. That's where I got the good stuff for my keyboard case when I did it. Oh and by the way, I honestly thing you can BUY a case cheaper than build one by the time you buy good hardware in small quantities and the good edging. My twin case came from star cases and has held up long enough for me to retire it! Mike |
