Inherited this broken amp from an uncle who thought I might be able to fix it. This would make a nice little bass amp. What it does is hums like a tube amp with no bias and then blows the 5 amp fuse. It sounds like my uncle tried to drive the speaker with a more powerful amp with no regard for power ratings or impedances (he wouldn't admitt it though.) what does this do to a solid state amp?

Come on all you MM guys, do I have a prayer?

Just in case anyone is paying attention out there, i fixed this amp by replacing the two power transistors in the output section. Thanks to Steve for providing links to the schematics.
