I've got a 210HD-150 I bought new in 1980. Hasn't been used a lot since 1981, when my band broke up. Has been used for praise and worship since. Looks and sounds good. Had the caps replaced about 4 years ago. Still has the original 6L6's, speakers, foot switch, etc. Everything except the caps.

I have someone interested in it, but don't know what price to put on it. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Dave Gleason

Depending on condition, most Music Man combos seem to sell in the $300 to $650 range.

To get $650 or more it ought to be in perfect pristine cosmetic and operational condition with all accessories.

Thanks for the input Steve. I'd say it's not mint, but excellent, no tears in the grille, a couple scuff marks on the covering, but no tears. If it didn't fetch the upper end of the $300-650 range you mentioned, I wouldn't sell it. These amps are a bargain at these prices, some of the most reliable amps ever built.

It's remarkable how constant that price range has been...factoring in inflation, they've depreciated! I coated my combo (MM HD210 One*Fifty) black tolex w/ several coats of tinted shellac- it's light brown. All else, I've maintained- cap jobs, tubes, bias. Probably COULD use a fresh set of 10's, but she sounds fantastic
as is..."it's cheaper ta keep her...". :-)
