So, form my reading here I read what the physical definition of a PI tube is. However what i do not understand is this: my 1976 112 Sixty-five has two power tubes and the 12AX7 PI, it is a master volume amp; in other tube amps with master volume controls, the channel volume increases preamp gain while the master controls the power tubes. Is that true for my amp as well?
