You know this is a great Amp! All original (except replaced tubes). Missing 1 corner bracket. Very Good condition. Priced to sell - $375. Can be seen, played, and picked up in Monroe, NY. Professional shipping arrangements can be made. Contact Al - westphal@frontiernet.net or call me - 845-783-3530. This is a vintage 1970's Music Man "Sixty-Five" 212-combo tube amp from Leo Fender's "Music Man" Amplification. This is what the Groove Tubes “The Tube Amp Book” has to say about these amps: “the best sounding ones were the very first models with a 7025 tube driver to push the output tubes." "They later changed to a solid state device and I think lost some of the warmth and touch the early ones had." "The early ones to look for were the models 65 and 130 with the numbers written out in scropt (IE: one-hundred thirty) on the lower right hand corner of the cabnet." "You can also look behind at the chassis for the one little preamp tube in it’s shield to be sure if it’s one of the good ones.” |
