Sorry I missed this one!I have been curious about the Weber Michigan speaks, I have a new set of Weber California 12's. I have a mod for any two channel non-switching MM that will set it up as a channel switching configuration and reverb on both channels, improved overall tone without loosing the amps natural vibe, D*umble owners eat your heart out, also a simple F/X loop. |

The trick about the Weber Michigan model (and this was told to me by Ted himself) is to have the magnets saturated when they make the speaker. Since all Weber speakers are made to order---all you have to do is ask. I have a pair of 10" Michigans in a Vibrolux and they are WONDERFUL. |

Ed, I would be interested in knowing about your mods. Would you either post more info or contact me off the board, please? |

Hi Don, I had a HD-130 212 years ago before I knew anything about amps. I have modded some MM amps like the RD-50, a RD-100 and would like to get another HD-130 212 to do a channel switching mod, improve the overdrive quality, change the rectifier to a FRED (Fast Recovery Epitiaxiall Diode). warmer quieter performance. overall better response and clarity. Also add a F/X loop. Call me if you like 530-529-0389. thanks Ed |
