C35 added 2 more uF
Changed C34 and C35 to 100uF
Changed R9 to 100K
Changed R11 to 200K
Changed R69 and R12 to 1.8K
Changer R61 to 15K
Added 47pF across R21
Added 150K in series with V1-7 grid
C48 and C 10 are 5uF and not changed
IC1 changed to OPA2604 (because I had one)

Here are some of my mods, some are old recordings and I am still learning better ways to make better recordings, so hopefully they don't sound too bad, haha!

HD-130 mods for Blues/Rock tones:

HD-130 David Gilmour tone mods:

RD-50 Robben Ford tone mods:

RD-50 Reverb upgrade:

RD-50 JP50 mods for cranked Fender meets Marshall tones. Weber 10" Hemp cone, with Alnico speaker.

(Recorded using my new Mojave MA100 condenser mic, still learning how to get the most from it).
I have not used it much lately, getting my studio setup better for isolation.

Jeff Prine is working on a DVD of my mods in comparison to his 65' Fender Deluxe. I hope to post it soon for those interested.

Thanks

All clips except RD-50 Weber Hemp cone, Alnico magnet (Hojave MA100 mic) were recorded using a Weber MASS speaker load and Palmer PDI-09 DI for direct recording.

I listened to the two HD130 mod demos. They sure sound damn good to me. Nice work. I think that I'd need a lot of personal/physical modification as well, to make sounds anywhere near that good. Thanks for posting.

Where is the reverb mod details? I should look into that. Is there less hum?

Reverb details for the RD-50? I do this for a living, I am partially disabled and can only do certain things these days, so I am limited to what I can do. Unfortunately I have to compete with so many other great amp techs with more financial backing, and support, I am a little one guy shop. I recommend a simple mod for the reverb for warmer, longer delay, get the MOD reverb tank 8BB3D1B, drops right in.
