Hi I´ve read a lot of the posts regarding correct impedance, but i´m still a little confused regarding the right setting for my amp.

I have a music man 212 65 combo and have just replaced the speakers with 2 8 ohms eminence.
i only use the internal speakers, there is no extra cabinets attached.

is it correct that my speakers are wired in parallel and therefore i should use the 4 ohm setting?

Kind regards
Kenneth

The original 8-ohm speakers from the factory were wired in parallel and the amp was set for 4-ohms when using only the internal speakers.

If you didn't change the speaker wiring when you replaced the speakers, this should still be the case.

Thanks Steve for the fast respond..

I´ve connected them the same way as they were before . and it was the original speakers I replaced and I suppose they haven´t been rewired. I´ll go with the 4 ohm setting then.
Thanks again:-)
Kenneth
