Having recently got myself an rd50 AMP WITH A SINGLE (ORIGINAL) speaker, I have now built an extension cab that will house an additional 8 ohm speaker.
What rating (RMS) would you guys advise? Amazingly the amp has great bass response anyway and I dont want to have something too shrill as I play an Albert Lee SSS which is a bright guitar anyway. So I'd like to get an (extension) speaker so what recomendations? Cheers.

Well, considering that the amp is only 50 watts, almost anything would be a good fit. I think I would look at either a lower power weber or one of the many eminence varieties. I'm not really a celestion guy so the weber would be my choice personally. Their pick guide gives a pretty good description of their products. I use their CV123's that are Cerwin Vega clones and love them. Very clean and uncolored. Mike.

Jensen P12N. Sound fine to me. Made in Italy now...not USA or Canada, if that matters
