I have come up with a standby switch that goes on the back right corner of the chassis. In the past I used a on (down-satndby/off-middle/on-up operate switch, but when switching from standby to operate, you have to pass over the off possition and it momentarily shuts off power and a popping/pooping sound is heard. I decided for simplicity and easy replacement to use a spst switch like the power switch for a standby switch. It works great and is out of the way, it also adds life to} the power tubes.}}}}}}

Hi Dirk, I basically run a switch between the B+ going to the output tranny. It shuts off the plate voltage when in standby mode.
