Hello!

I have a 210 Sixty Five, with the 12ax7 tube.

It has 2 EL-34s in it, old Mullards.

What would the desired bias settings be for this amp?

thanks -

Richard

How are you measuring it? I prefer the direct reading approach with a tube adapter that directly reads cathode current or the voltage over a resistor in the adapter. I set MY 2-10 65 at 21-23mA of idle current and get good tube life and great sound. These amps ate tubes back in the day when we HAD good tubes so a little cool is good. I also prefer JJ E34L's as they seem to holg up in my amps well. Mike

Check the Music Man factory service bulletins on this site and at the top of this Message Board. There is one specifically on how to measure the bias on the different families of Music Man amps.
